NU series cylindrical roller bearings are a type of rolling bearing commonly used in the industrial field. 1.The core advantage of high load-bearing capacity
NU series bearings can withstand large radial loads through the linear contact design of cylindrical rollers. The full-fill type (without cage) has a significantly better load-bearing capacity than the cage type due to the larger number of rollers. For example, in heavy-load scenarios such as wind turbines and heavy machinery, the NU series can stably withstand the radial force transmitted by blades or structures.
2.Limitations of speed performance
The maximum speed of full-fill NU bearings is relatively low, usually 50%-70% of that of caged bearings. Taking the NU type full-fill bearing with an inner diameter of 50mm as an example, the maximum speed is about 3000rpm under grease lubrication, and can reach 4000rpm under oil lubrication; while the speed of caged bearings can generally reach 6000-10000rpm1. The reason is that the rollers in the full-fill structure are in direct contact, and the friction and heat generation are serious at high speeds, which can easily cause roller collision and temperature rise problems.
