Angular contact ball bearings are classified into two types: single row angular contact ball bearings and double row angular contact ball bearings. They are used in high frequency motors and centrifugal separators. It is a bearing with a universal combination and basic design. Angular contact ball bearings are mainly used for high-speed rotating applications with light loads. Bearings are required to have high precision, high speed, low temperature vibration and fixed service life. How to maintain bearings? as follows:
1. When the bearing is running for a fixed period (or maintenance period), remove the bearing.
2. Soak the bearing with diesel or kerosene. If there are technical conditions, open the sealing cover for cleaning.
3. After cleaning, the dry cleaning oil is visually inspected without damage.
4. Use a 150 mm rod, the diameter of the angular contact ball bearing is equal (good for the hollow tube), and the bearings are fixed;
5. When rotating the bearing quickly by hand, push the rod (tube) to the ear or the audio amplifier microphone to hear the noise of the bearing rotation;
6. After fixing the bearing, move the stick horizontally to check if the bearing is worn or loose.
7. FAG bearings with severe looseness, excessive rotating noise and serious defects should be eliminated and replaced with the same type of bearings;
8. Take the barrel grease (high quality yellow dry oil) and melt it with a mild fire (but not hot). Place the test bearing in the bucket and soak it until there is no bubble. The bearings are removed before the grease cools and the remaining grease is less. After the grease is cooled, the angular contact ball bearing is removed, and the amount of remaining grease is large, and the amount of grease remaining is determined as needed.
9. Clean the grease on the outside of the bearing with a soft cloth or toilet paper and assemble the FAG bearing to the pulley. Maintenance work will be completed.
Bearings are precision components. Compared with general mechanical parts, angular contact bearings have high precision. Therefore, their use needs to be carried out with caution. No matter how high-performance bearings are used, if they are used improperly, they will not be obtained. Expected high performance, so bearing maintenance is very necessary.
