The newly developed ULTAGE thrust spherical roller bearing has an optimized bearing internal design that maximizes the size and number of rollers that make up the rolling elements. Compared with conventional thrust spherical roller bearings, these improvements have led to a 70% increase in the basic rated dynamic load and a six-fold increase in the rated service life of the bearing, achieving the highest standard of high load capacity.
The structure of the retainer has also been changed from the traditional "machined retainer" to a simpler "cage-type steel stamped retainer" to ensure sufficient space capacity, which makes it possible to use grease lubrication in addition to conventional oil lubricants and increases the allowable speed by 20%. The rings are specially heat treated to ensure a heat-resistant specification of 200°C as a standard for dimensional stability and long service life in high-temperature environments.
