The basic code indicates the basic type, structure and size of FAG bearings.




The front code means that FAG bearing parts are placed before the basic code.




The post code indicates the supplementary code added after the basic code of the bearing when the FAG bearing structure shape, size, seal, cage, tolerance, clearance, heat treatment, packaging, technical requirements, etc. are changed.

The post code is placed after the basic code. When there are multiple sets of post codes, they should be arranged from left to right in the order of the post codes listed in the FAG bearing code table. Some postcodes are separated from the basic code with a small dot in front of them.

Cage changes




The number added after the cage code or inserted in the middle of the cage code indicates that the cage structure has undergone changes. These figures are only used during the transition period, for example: NU1008M1.

V——Full complement of rolling element FAG bearings. Example: NU207V.




VT——Full complement rolling element FAG bearing with isolated balls or rollers. Example: 51120VT.




Post code-tolerance level (dimensional accuracy and rotation accuracy)




P0——The tolerance level is in line with the 0 level specified by the international standard ISO, and the code is omitted and not indicated.




P6-Tolerance level conforms to the level 6 specified by the international standard ISO.




P6X-Tolerance class 6 tapered roller FAG bearings in accordance with the international standard ISO regulations.




P5——The tolerance level is in line with the level 5 specified by the international standard ISO.




P4——The tolerance level is in line with the level 4 specified by the international standard ISO.

HG——The dimensional accuracy is equivalent to level 4, and the rotation accuracy is higher than level 4 and lower than level 2 (spindle FAG bearing).




2 Post code-clearance




C1——The clearance meets the standard requirement of 1 group, less than 2 groups.




C2——The clearance meets the standard 2 groups, less than 0 group.




C0——Clearance conforms to the 0 group specified by the standard, omitted in the code, not indicated.




C3——The clearance meets the 3 groups specified by the standard, and is greater than 0 group.




C4——The clearance conforms to the 4 groups specified by the standard, and is greater than 3 groups.




C5——The clearance meets the 5 groups specified by the standard, and is greater than 4 groups.




When the tolerance grade code and the clearance code need to be expressed at the same time, take the tolerance grade code (not indicated for P0) plus the upstream clearance group number (not indicated for 0 group).




Example: P63=P6+C3, which means FAG bearing tolerance grade P6, radial clearance 3 groups.




P52=P5+C2, which means FAG bearing tolerance grade P5, radial clearance 2 groups.




Non-standard clearance, in the case of special radial clearance and axial clearance, the relevant limit value should be expressed in μm after the letter R (radial clearance) or A (axial clearance), and the number is Use small dots to separate the spaces.




Example: 6210.R10.20-6210FAG bearing, radial clearance 10μm to 20μm.

Post code-heat treatment




S0-FAG bearing ring has been subjected to high temperature tempering treatment, and the working temperature can reach 150℃.




S1-FAG bearing ring has been subjected to high temperature tempering treatment, and the working temperature can reach 200℃.




S2-FAG bearing ring has been subjected to high temperature tempering treatment, and the working temperature can reach 250℃.




S3-FAG bearing ring has been subjected to high temperature tempering treatment, and the working temperature can reach 300℃.




S4-FAG bearing ring has been subjected to high temperature tempering treatment, and the working temperature can reach 350℃.
