NTN Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as NTN) sponsors the SUPER GT event of SUBARU TECNICA INTERNATIONAL Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Mitaka City, Tokyo, Representative Director and President: Hiromi Takashi, hereinafter referred to as STI), which is involved in motorsports and vehicle development, and provides bearing products for the participating vehicle "BRZ GT300". Vehicles equipped with NTN bearings will participate in all events of the "AUTOBACS SUPER GT 2025 SERIES" held from April to November 2025.
As Japan's most popular automobile racing series, SUPER GT holds competitions at 8 venues in Japan and abroad throughout the year. The racing cars built based on high-performance GT racing cars*1 and the high-level competition presented by top drivers at home and abroad continue to attract the attention of car fans around the world.
This time, NTN provides the BRZ GT300 with tapered roller bearings that support tire rotation. In view of the harsh use environment such as long-term long-distance driving and load impact during sharp turns, NTN has selected the optimal number of rollers, width and raceway design from its rich product line to ensure low torque performance while ensuring load-bearing capacity, helping the BRZ GT300 to show strong and stable driving performance under extreme conditions.
